Pressing Ctrl-Alt-Del and returning from the system menu changes the color scheme. Can be worked around by adding an empty QuickLaunch bar. Still better than under ClassicTheme install mode (there was no space at all). Under newer Classic Shell the start button is still too close to the quicklaunch (1px). Or you can customize windows 10 to a point where it will look like classic theme. Need to start fixstripes again after closing Classic Shell properties. Approaching third party software will solve your concern. When using newer Classic Shell, switching tabs in the taskbar Classic Shell properties or closing the dialog leads to the black stripes reappearing. Compatibility with newer versions of Classic Shell. Explorer always starts in shell mode on reboot. No resident programs in memory, no resource consumption (ClassicTheme in install mode injects dwmui.dll into Explorer process with 3 threads, 2 of which constantly consume processing power).
